The group of bikers performed puja at the Sharda Temple, Teetwal, which is built as a replica of the original ancient temple in the Neelum Valley of POK. The Sharda Peeth temple in POK lay in a ruinous state despite being declared a protected monument.
The bikers' group was the first group to reach LoC after Operation Sindoor.
The bikers’ rally started from Kalady on 1 June and reached Sharda temple on 12 June, Varshik Abhishek said.
In a tribute to Operation Sindoor in which the Indian armed forces hit the terrorist camps and recruitment centers in Pakistan and POJK, the bikers carried banners with slogans 'Bullet for bullet.' After praying at the Sharda temple, they performed tarpan – prayer for the soul of the departed person – at the Kishenganga River for the victims of the Pahalgam terrorist attack.
