The Bharat Jodo Yatra will reach a milestone on Saturday covering 1000 kilometres after starting from Kanyakumari, the southernmost tip of the Indian subcontinent on September 7, 2022.

According to the Congress party, the 3500 km long march is the longest march by an Indian politician in the history of India.

The Yatra will reach the milestone of 1000 kilometres when it reaches the outskirts of Ballari district in Karnataka.

Rahul Gandhi is so far travelled in the three southern states of Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka.
