Indians may be used to it, but the phenomenon of Operation Sindoor, the bold incursion into Pakistan to strike right into 9 terror factories and launching pads, has shown to the world that the diversity of India is deeper and organic.

While Indians rose as one people to support and cheer up the Armed forces and the government on its stand against Pakistan three decade long history of sponsoring terrorism in India, individual communities took pride in seeing their own playing crucial role in avenging the death of 26 Indians in the Pahalgam massacre.

While Sikhs cheered for Indian Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh  who just happened to belong to the community, and prided in his role in striking at terrorist sites inside Pakistan.

However, the biggest cheer was for two women Military Officers – Lt Col Sofiya Qureshi and Wg Cdr Vyomika Singh. Who briefed the media on details of the Operation Sindoor with precision and professional finesse.

Actor and owner of IPL cricket tream wrote on her X handle:

The social media was agog with memes and postings praising the symbolism of two women from different faiths speaking for the nation, communicating to the world and striking intoi the hearts of Pakistani propagandists who keep ranting about Indians Minorities.

Dr. Syed Mubin Zehra, a Professor of history of the Delhi University tokld awaz-the voice, "This press briefing by Nari Shakti was not only informative, but it shows that our daughters are now taking the lead not only in the security of the borders, but also in strategic planning and public dialogue.

“The name Operation 'Sindoor' is a very poignant symbol - in the memory of those brave women who became widows due to terrorism. It is a cultural and emotional tribute."

Dr. Zehra further said, "This operation indicates a clear change in India's military policy - now the answers are not limited, but decisive. Pakistan will have to understand that the place of its army is not in governance, but in the barracks... As long as the military rule there keeps crushing the civil system, its people will not be able to see peace.

I am sure that the Pakistani public is now realizing this double game and is waiting for the right time to change."

Media persons reached the families of the two women. Qureshi's parents spoke of their daughter's achivement and said they were proud  to see her avenge the sindoor of wives of the Pahalgam terror victims, ANI posted this video on X:
