The New Delhi-based NGO Awaz-e-Khwateen held a career counseling camp for college and school-going girls at Rampur, a city in Uttar Pradesh.

Simrat Singh Gill, lecturer, and other educationists like Hashim Raza Jalalpuri, Abhilash Kumar, and Dr. Geeta Saini gave valuable insights into technical education and career options that girls can choose from.

They asked young women to explore fields like medicine and engineering.

Awaz-e-Khwateen Director Ratna Shukla Anand pointed out that girls should take up different fields of work because learning has no age. She highlighted several schemes of the government programs meant for young women for career making.

Principal Dr Geeta Saini stressed the importance of financial independence, while Simrat Singh Gill emphasized the significance of science for societal progress, urging students to consider technical education post-Class 10.
