Proceedings at the Mysuru District Court were briefly suspended on Tuesday after an email warning of a bomb threat was received, police officials said.

As a precaution, all judicial officers, lawyers, court staff and litigants were evacuated from the court परिसर, and entry was restricted, they added.

A bomb disposal and dog squad was immediately deployed, and a detailed search operation of the premises was launched to rule out any threat, a senior police officer said.

Court proceedings were halted during the security checks, and further action will be taken based on the outcome of the investigation.
