Bollywood actor and Padma Shri awardee Raveena Tandon recently took to Twitter to express her support for the "Say No to Drugs" campaign in Kashmir. She urged everyone to join the fight against drugs and empower the youth with education instead of intoxication. The campaign has garnered widespread support from people across the country.

Kashmir has been grappling with a massive drug epidemic, with more youth including women taking to drugs.
An addiction survey has put the number of substance abusers in Kashmir at Kashmir at around 70,000 with 52,000 people using IV Heroin. Experts are suggesting that there is a shift from medicinal Opioids (Codeine, SP, Tramadol, and Tapentadol) to hard-core drugs mostly Intravenous heroin.
