Shruti Sharma, the topper of the UPSC Civil Services for 2021, received a standing over at Jamia Milia Islamia University where she had received her coaching for the UPSC examination while being an inmate of the Resident coaching Center.
The reception was hosted by the Jamia Milia teachers association. Prof. Najma Akhtar, Vice-chancellor, Prof. Nazim Hussain Al Jafari, JTA President, Prof. Majid Jameel, General Secretary, JTA, and other functionaries of the University were present on the occasion.
Officials jointly congratulated Shruti Sharma on stage in a hall full of students and teachers.

Shruti Sharma also distributed checks to some of the 308 students selected for the JTA Merit Cum Scholarship programme.
On the occasion, Prof. Najma Akhtar said, “i would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to every successful student of RCA and especially to Shruti Sharma for her outstanding and outstanding achievement. Congratulations to those who have made us proud.”
A visibly emotional Shruti Sharma said, “I would like to thank everyone for the success but RCA has played a vital role in my UPSC journey and I would like to thank the teachers for their support at every step.”

"Because of the facilities available here, I was able to focus on my studies and not allow my mind to get diverted. My classmates helped me a lot and I think the group studies that I was introduced to here are a great learning technique. The RCA helped us form small groups for reading and studying, which helped us to learn from each other,” Shruti who would be joining the LBSAA, Mussorie, Uttrakhand for training in August said.
