Guar seed prices on Tuesday rose by Rs 149 to Rs 6,027 per quintal in futures trade amid higher bets by investors.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for July delivery inched up by Rs 149, or 2.53 per cent, to Rs 6,027 per quintal with an open interest of 24,755 lots.

Marketmen said higher bets by investors, despite a fall in spot prices, supported guar seed prices in futures trade.
