TVS Industrial & Logistics Parks on Wednesday announced plans to establish a new logistics park in Siliguri after signing an agreement for a 10-acre land parcel in the strategically located city, often regarded as the gateway to India’s Northeast.
The company said the upcoming project is expected to strengthen supply chain infrastructure in the region, improve logistics efficiency, support local enterprises and create employment opportunities, while also encouraging the adoption of organised Grade A warehousing facilities.
Situated at a key junction connecting domestic and cross-border trade routes with Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh, Siliguri offers strong multimodal connectivity, making it an important logistics destination.
The company said the investment is in line with its strategy to deepen its footprint across emerging logistics hubs in eastern India. It noted that sectors such as e-commerce, FMCG, pharmaceuticals and regional distribution are driving growing demand for modern warehousing solutions in the region.
This marks TVS ILP’s second major investment in West Bengal, underlining its long-term commitment to the state’s industrial and logistics ecosystem.
