Actor Pankaj Tripathi's upcoming film Ohh My Dog, directed by Oh My God 2 filmmaker Amit Rai, is slated for a theatrical release on July 31.

The makers unveiled the teaser of the film on Tuesday, offering a glimpse into a heartwarming story that highlights the deep bond of love and loyalty between humans and dogs.

Produced by Amit Rai, Rajesh Bhardwaj, and Sana Warsi under the banners of Babulal Biscope and Thinking Hats Entertainment, the film features an ensemble cast including Pankaj Tripathi, Maahi Rai, Geeta Aggarwal Sharma, Rajesh Kumar, Pawan Malhotra, Sulakhyana Baruah, and Vijay Mishra. Canine actors Oscar and Bruno also play prominent roles, alongside more than 250 dogs appearing in the film.

At its core, Ohh My Dog tells the story of a young girl and her beloved dog, using their relationship to advocate compassion, empathy, and harmonious coexistence between humans and animals. The film aims to encourage viewers to overcome fear and misconceptions about dogs while fostering greater kindness towards all living beings.

Speaking about the project, director Amit Rai said dogs embody unconditional love and unwavering loyalty, making them the perfect inspiration for a family entertainer with an emotional message. He added that the film goes beyond the friendship between a child and a pet, seeking to inspire audiences to embrace compassion and coexist peacefully with animals. According to Rai, the film will have achieved its purpose if viewers leave the theatre with a deeper sense of empathy towards animals.
