Actor Priyanka Chopra has said that if her daughter Malti Marie ever chooses to pursue a career in the entertainment industry, she would encourage her to stay focused, grounded, and dedicated to her craft.
In an interaction with E! News, Chopra spoke about the guidance she would offer Malti, whom she shares with singer Nick Jonas.
Emphasising the importance of self-focus, Chopra said aspiring artists should concentrate on their own contribution rather than external pressures. She noted that the industry can bring distractions and expectations, and that dedication to one’s craft helps provide stability and growth.
Chopra also revealed that her four-year-old daughter, Malti Marie, is already familiar with life on film sets, having accompanied her to work from an early age. She added that Malti has travelled extensively and has even been part of tour life with Jonas.
The actor said she and her husband have consciously worked to normalise their professions for their daughter by introducing her to various behind-the-scenes roles on set, helping her understand filmmaking as a collaborative effort.
