Promotional video of Randeep Hooda's film 'Swatantrya Veer Savarkar' at a billboard in Times Square

The upcoming film 'Swatantrya Veer Savarkar', which marks the directorial debut of actor Randeep Hooda, recently got its promotional video featured at the iconic Times Square in the Midtown Manhattan area of New York City.
The film's date announcement video featuring Randeep in the titular role was played at a billboard in Times Square.
‘Swatantrya Veer Savarkar’, which has booked its release for March 22, this year, presents the tale of V.D. Savarkar. Randeep, who has also helmed the film, stars in the titular role.
The film also stars Ankita Lokhande and Amit Sial.
Recently, Randeep visited the 'kalapani’ or the cellular jail in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, on the death anniversary of Savarkar.
He shared pictures from his visit on his X, formerly called Twitter. He also penned a lengthy note in his tweet and shared that during the recce of his film he couldn’t even stay locked for 20 minutes in the jail.
Produced by Zee Studios, Anand Pandit, Sandeep Singh, Randeep Hooda, & Yogesh Rahar, and co-produced by Roopa Pandit, Sam Khan, Anwar Ali and Panchali Chakraborty, the film is set to release on March 22, 2024 in Hindi and Marathi.
