Prodapt on Wednesday announced that it has received ISO 42001 certification, the world’s first global standard for Artificial Intelligence Management Systems (AIMS), marking a major milestone in the company’s efforts to deliver secure, ethical and scalable AI solutions for enterprises worldwide.
ISO 42001 provides a comprehensive framework for governing artificial intelligence across strategy, technology and operational functions. The certification, granted by an independent accredited body, validates Prodapt’s robust AI management framework, which includes executive-level oversight, strong technological foundations and disciplined operational practices.
According to the company, the certification confirms that its AI systems are responsibly designed, deployed, monitored and enhanced throughout their entire lifecycle. The assessment placed particular emphasis on risk management, ethical AI implementation, transparency and scalability, demonstrating Prodapt’s capability to proactively identify and mitigate risks while ensuring accountability in AI-driven decision-making.
Human-in-the-loop controls are systematically embedded across AI workflows, supported by clearly defined ownership structures, escalation protocols and decision traceability mechanisms, the company said.
Commenting on the achievement, Manish Vyas, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Prodapt, said that as enterprises increasingly adopt AI-led decision-making, strong governance and trust are essential. He noted that ISO 42001 serves as a global benchmark for responsible AI operations and reflects Prodapt’s executive commitment, governance discipline and experience gained from deploying AI at scale. He added that the certification provides customers with confidence to expand AI initiatives securely and responsibly in partnership with Prodapt.
The certification also recognises the company’s end-to-end governance of the AI lifecycle, spanning design, development, enhancement and decommissioning, backed by detailed documentation, auditable records and continuous monitoring processes.
Prodapt said these capabilities are further strengthened by its experience in executing multiple large-scale AI implementations for global enterprises, enabling innovation without compromising compliance or trust.
