Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Monday paid tributes to former President APJ Abdul Kalam on his death anniversary.

The Chief Minister paid homage to Kalam, recalling his immense contributions to the nation's scientific and technological progress, which earned him the title of the "Missile Man of India".
“I pay my tributes on the death anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, who brought numerous scientific and technological achievements to the nation and earned recognition as the Missile Man of India," said Naidu in a post on X.
He remembered Kalam as the "People's President" for his simplicity, integrity and humanitarian outlook.
Jagan Mohan Reddy paid homage to Kalam, describing him as the "Missile Man of India" whose remarkable contributions to nation-building, science and technology continue to inspire generations.

Kalam, who served as the 11th President of India from 2002 to 2007, is widely remembered for his contributions to India's missile and space programmes as well as his vision for national development.
