The CISF has revised its posting policy for Parliament House Complex security, extending personnel tenure from three to four years, with a possible one-year extension.
The new framework aims to boost continuity, operational efficiency and familiarity with parliamentary protocols. A fixed proportion of personnel will now be rotated annually.
Only personnel with a clean record, SHAPE-I medical category, specialised training and clearances will be eligible.
The CISF has also strengthened training, including regular CBRN, terror-response, drone-threat and multi-agency mock drills.
