Delhi Police has busted an illegal network supplying psychotropic drugs and arrested two men with Buprenorphine and Naloxone sublingual tablets in outer north Delhi, officials said on Wednesday.

The accused, Amit alias Bhoka (32) and Abid Ali alias Sahil Khan (40), were arrested in separate operations following a tip-off, police said.

The police recovered 594 tablets weighing 56.1 grams from Amit near Shahbad Dairy and, based on his disclosure, the team arrested Abid Ali near Wazirabad Road with another 800 tablets weighing 76.8 grams.

A total of 1,394 tablets weighing 132.9 grams were seized.

An FIR was registered at the Shahbad Dairy police station.

Amit is a habitual offender involved in 11 criminal cases, including a previous conviction under the NDPS Act, they said.

Further investigation is underway to trace the supply network of the racket.
