Vehicular traffic on the historic Mughal Road, which links Rajouri and Poonch districts with the Kashmir Valley, has been fully restored after a week-long closure due to heavy snowfall, officials said.

The road had been partially reopened on Sunday night, allowing stranded vehicles to move. Full traffic resumed on Monday morning, though the traffic police have issued new cut-off timings: vehicles can cross either end of the road only until 2:30 pm, after which the stretch will be closed for the day.

Officials cautioned that Pir Ki Gali still has partial snow cover, and road conditions may remain slippery during the evening.
