Actor and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut on Thursday hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, saying India has witnessed strong economic growth and is steadily moving towards greater achievements over the past 12 years of the central government's tenure.

Speaking during her visit to Jodhpur, Ranaut expressed confidence that the country would continue to set new benchmarks in development under Modi's leadership.

She said government employees, officials and party workers had played a significant role in ensuring that welfare initiatives and development programmes reached people at the grassroots level.

Responding to questions from reporters, the actor-politician said the people who inspire her the most are those who work selflessly for the nation.

"My real inspiration comes from government employees, officials and karmayogis who serve the country with honesty, dedication and commitment. These individuals devote themselves completely to national service and are the true architects of India's destiny," she said.

Ranaut's visit to the Rajasthan city was also linked to the promotion of her upcoming film, Bharat Bhagya Vidhata. She thanked the people of Jodhpur for hosting the film's grand premiere and acknowledged actor John Abraham for his contribution to the title of the project.

Meanwhile, Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal also congratulated Prime Minister Modi on completing 4,399 consecutive days in office, making him the longest-serving elected Prime Minister in uninterrupted terms.

Calling it a moment of pride for the nation, Goyal said India has made remarkable progress under Modi's leadership.

"It is a matter of great pride that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is reaching unprecedented heights. The country is progressing rapidly, and India's standing on the global stage continues to grow stronger," he said.

He further noted that India's cultural heritage and civilisational values have also received renewed emphasis during this period.

Highlighting the Prime Minister's popularity, Goyal said Modi enjoys widespread public trust and international recognition.
