Kerala Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar on Saturday said that the aim of the election process should be to ensure 100 per cent voter participation.
The Governor was also of the view that the State Election Commission should be a model for the poll panels in other states, an SEC release said.
He made the statements after releasing a detailed report prepared by the SEC on the 2025 local body polls, the 2026 Election Commission Yearbook and a compilation of important High Court judgments related to local elections, the release said.
The Governor also presented a certificate of appreciation to two engineering students who had developed a EVM Track software, it said.
