India’s marine exports have recorded a 20 per cent growth in the past few months, despite the imposition of anti-dumping duties by several countries, the Lok Sabha was informed on Tuesday.
Responding to a supplementary question during Question Hour, Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal said the government is making focused efforts to further boost marine fish exports.
He informed the House that 102 marine fish export establishments have been registered in the European Union over the past 12 months. In addition, 25 export establishments have received registration and approval in Russia.
