The Muslim Rashtriya Manch of the RSS will launch a nationwide campaign for educating people on the need for a Uniform Civil Code, (UCC), the common civil law for all Indians that will replace the personal laws and is expected to be broughtthat is expected to be proposed for a law by the current BJP government.
The campaign will be launched under the banner of “One Nation, One People, One Law” and involve holding a countrywide public awareness campaign by the MRM activists. Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM) is the Muslim outreach leg of the RSS.
The meeting decided that the leader and workers will reach out to lakhs of families across the country and educate them on how harmony, brotherhood, unity, and the integrity of India are important and the UCC is the need of the hour for a strong and prosperous country.
A release of the manch claimed there was unanimity among the members that Muslims should understand why the community is still marginalized even after 75 years of independence, while the so-called secular parties and governments in the past 60 pursued the policy of appeasement towards it.
Manch media in-charge Shahid Saeed said an important meeting with Indresh Kumar in the chair was held by the Manch where it was unanimously decided that Uniform Civil Code is not in any way hostile to Islam and Muslims.
Apart from Indresh Kumar, Muhammad Afzal, Shahid Akhtar, Girish Joyal, Tahir Abbas, SK Madin, Abu Bakr Naqvi, Virag Pachpur, Islam Abbas, Majid Talikoti, Raza Hussain Rizvi, Irfan Ali, Shalini Ali, Resham Hussain, and Shahnaz were present. More than 400 members of the RMM participated in the meeting.
“The campaign will run from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, from Gujarat to Kerala, from West Bengal to Maharashtra,” Saeed said.
Manch leaders and workers will conduct small and large public awareness programs across the country to cover millions of Indians.
Munch believes that UCC will foster unity and end hatred of one community against the other. It said those opposing the proposed law want to create bitterness and violence based on caste and religion.
The RMM believes that those who tend to incite and provoke Muslims on such issues of national interest are the enemies of Muslims and Islam.the meeting also raised the issue that how could only Muslims be at risk because of the uniform civil code among countless religions across the country? This is a deception which is always used by the so called secular parties to scare and mislead the Muslims for the sake of the Muslim vote bank.
he forum believes that this law is not against any caste, religion and community, but respects and protects all religions and works for brotherhood among all. It was revealed in the meeting that those who oppose this nationalist law actually do not want brotherhood and harmony between religions.
An analysis of all the facts, opinions, suggestions shows that those people or parties who oppose the Uniform Civil Code are actually conspiring to prevent the Muslims from becoming politically Indian and the people of India not being united. .
