The 2nd edition of Positive Kashmir invitational  Football Championship 2022 being played at Synthetic Turf Football Stadium, Srinagar saw an opening clash between Lonestar Kashmir FC & Jehlum Football Club Srinagar on Tuesday.

After a goalless first half Sameer of Jehlum FC scored the solitary goal for his team that was in the end the difference between the two teams.

Despite making several attempts LoneStar failed to find the equalizer.

Skipper Bilal Sofi of Jehlum FC was adjudged the Player of the match.

With this win, Jehlum FC has reached the second round of the championship.

J&K Bank Football Academy will take on Bandipora FC on Wednesday.

The tournament is being organised by the Positive Kashmir (NGO) in collaboration with J&K Sports Council.
