The UAE Bulls stormed into Qualifier 2 of the ADT10 after defeating the Ajman Titans by 47 runs, powered by a dominant batting effort at the Zayed Cricket Stadium. Phil Salt, Tim David and Rovman Powell unleashed a combined 16 sixes as the Bulls piled up the tournament’s highest score this season — 162/3.

With this win, the Bulls now set up a clash with Quetta Qavalry in Qualifier 2, aiming for a spot in the final against the Aspin Stallions later in the evening.

Salt (59 off 26) ignited the innings with an explosive start, smashing four early sixes and taking apart Akif Javed in the second over with three in a row. Alongside James Vince (21 off 10), he put together a 68-run opening stand before Vince fell to Wasim Akram in the fifth over. Salt reached a blistering half-century in just 21 deliveries.

The momentum only grew as Tim David (40 off 13) hammered four consecutive sixes, while Rovman Powell (32* off 10) added more damage with three fours and three sixes, taking the Bulls to a formidable total that equalled the venue’s season-high score.

Chasing 163, the Titans began brightly with Aneurin Donald (37 off 18) and Alex Hales (35 off 18) racing to 68 in five overs. But their innings unraveled quickly, losing four wickets for 18 runs to slip to 86/4. Junaid Siddique triggered the collapse with a disciplined spell and crucial double strike in the sixth over.

Donald fell to Mohammad Rohid Khan, and Moeen Ali (8 off 4) was dismissed by Sunil Narine, leaving the Titans with too steep a task. Though Dan Lawrence (14 off 9) and Will Smeed (18 off 10) stayed unbeaten, the side could only reach 115/4, falling well short of the target.
