Aluminium prices fell marginally by 55 paise to Rs 346.50 per kg in futures trade on Wednesday as participants trimmed their positions amid a weak trend in spot markets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in August fell by 55 paise or 0.16 per cent to Rs 346.50 per kg in 293 lots.

Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
