Iqbal Sheikh, a teenage boy from Murshidabad, West Bengal, who has been suffering from a burning sensation all over his body and takes recourse to remaining submerged in a pond due to the condition was airlifted to Mumbai after the intervention of Anant Ambani.

Anant Ambani, Executive Director of the Reliance Industries, saw the appeal of his iqbal's oarents for help on social media, and decided to hjelp him. Iqbal has been admitted to Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital.

Doctors will conduct a detailed examination of his medical condition and provide appropriate treatment.

Iqbal's parents appealed for help, expressing their inability to afford long-term treatment due to financial constraints. Experts have also warned about the health risks of staying in water for long periods of time.

Iqbal's unusual condition came to the attention of people when a viral video showed him sitting in a pond and having breakfast. His family had earlier tried to get medical help but said they could not afford the treatment for a long time.

According to reports, Iqbal used to stay in the ponds for a long time because he said that as soon as he came out of the water, he felt a severe burning sensation all over his body. He also said that he felt as if some supernatural force had taken possession of him.

Due to this, he used to stay in the water for a long time and sometimes moved from one pond to another. After the video went viral on social media, a team of medical experts examined his case. After the intervention of Anant Ambani, an air flight was arranged to take Iqbal to Mumbai.

Iqbal's family said that they had taken him to a hospital before, but his condition did not improve. The cost of continued treatment was beyond the family's ability and they appealed for help.

Residents of the area said Iqbal was often seen swimming in ponds from morning till late at night. They also said that he would sometimes move from one pond to another.

Doctors have warned that being submerged in water for several hours can cause serious skin problems, although Iqbal's underlying medical condition has yet to be properly assessed. Prolonged water immersion can soften the skin and turn it white, making it more susceptible to infection.

Dermatologists have warned that in such a situation, the risk of fungal and bacterial infections increases. Doctors have stressed that Iqbal needs a medical examination and proper treatment instead of spending a long time in the pool.

Iqbal says he feels a burning sensation all over his body when he comes out of the water. He also said he feels as if some supernatural force has taken possession of him.
