Apollo Hospitals on Friday announced the launch of a dedicated Centre of Excellence for sports injuries and orthopaedics in Hyderabad, aimed at offering specialised treatment and rehabilitation services for athletes and fitness enthusiasts.
The newly opened facility at Apollo’s Financial District campus has been designed to provide end-to-end care for sports-related injuries, bringing advanced diagnostics, surgical treatment and rehabilitation services under one roof, the hospital said in a statement.
The inauguration was attended by Anil Kamineni and Jayesh Ranjan.
Speaking at the launch, Dr. Deepthi Nandan Reddy, head of orthopaedics at the Apollo Financial District unit, said sports injuries require precise diagnosis and timely intervention to prevent long-term complications.
He said the centre is equipped to treat ligament injuries, joint disorders and other complex orthopaedic conditions using advanced surgical techniques supported by evidence-based rehabilitation programmes.
According to Harkaran Singh, chief operating officer of the Financial District hospital, the facility brings together orthopaedic surgeons, sports medicine specialists and physiotherapists to deliver personalised treatment plans and speedier recovery for patients.

Players from Sunrisers Hyderabad, including Pat Cummins, Praful Hinge and Sakib Hussain, also visited the facility and reviewed its treatment and rehabilitation infrastructure.
