Silver prices on Friday fell by Rs 508 to Rs 2,18,867 per kilogram in futures trade as participants reduced their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for September delivery declined by Rs 508, or 0.23 per cent, to Rs 2,18,867 per kg in a business turnover of 1,084 lots.
Analysts said a sell-off by participants mainly weighed on silver prices.

Globally, the white metal was trading 0.23 per cent lower at USD 57.46 per ounce in New York.
