Silver prices on Tuesday fell by Rs 2,411 to Rs 2,74,240 per kilogram as participants reduced their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for the July delivery declined by Rs 2,411, or 0.87 per cent, to Rs 2,74,240 per kg in a business turnover of 2,268 lots.
Analysts said a sell-off by participants mainly weighed on silver prices.

Globally, silver was trading 2.19 per cent higher at USD 76.01 per ounce in New York.
