On the eve of the 8th International Yoga Day, the Department of Physical Education of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) organized a yoga festival titled "Unite with Yoga".
The program was organized in association with the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga under the guidelines of the Ministry of Ayush. The event was attended by more than 2000 participants, including Ahmadi School for the Blind and Madrassa students and members of the Old Age Home, who performed various yoga asanas under the guidance of an expert.
The Yoga session was live streamed on social media platforms. The program started with a welcome address by Prof. Syed Tariq Murtaza, Chairperson, Department of Physical Education at AMU Athletics Ground early morning.
Meanwhile, Dr. Nowshad Waheed Ansari highlighted the benefits of various yoga asanas and Prof. Rajendra Singh exhibited asanas like Sutra Niti, Jal Niti and Kapal Bhati in the first session which was followed by other participants.

The second session was conducted by Prof. Brij Bhushan Singh on the practical aspects of meditation and meditation. Participants were introduced to the important forms of practical meditation and meditation. Physical Education students Pushpandar, Neha and Hari Om performed various asanas from the stage for 2,000 participants. ۔
In the third session of Yoga Utsav-2022, Dr. Muhammad Arshad Bari organized a webinar on "Peace and Health" at AMU's Kennedy Auditorium. The resource person explained the importance of yoga and peace in two different sessions.
More than 2,000 people attended the webinar on social media platforms.
