Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar on Tuesday unveiled the striking first-look motion poster of his much-anticipated horror-comedy Bhoot Bangla, offering fans a glimpse into a dramatic new avatar.
Sharing the motion poster on Instagram, the actor is seen in a ‘tantrik-like’ look, seated shirtless on an eerie, intricately carved throne adorned with demonic faces. Wearing black sunglasses, multiple rudraksha bead necklaces and holding a rosary, Kumar appears mid-scream, creating an intense yet theatrical visual that hints at the film’s horror-comedy theme.
The poster was accompanied by a playful caption: “Dus ko denge das-tak, intezar karo tab tak… Let the fun begin!”
The actor also announced that the film’s release has been preponed. Originally scheduled to hit theatres on May 15, Bhoot Bangla will now release earlier, on April 10, 2026.
The film marks the much-awaited reunion of Akshay Kumar with director Priyadarshan after nearly 16 years. The duo last collaborated on the 2010 film Khatta Meetha.
Bhoot Bangla features an ensemble cast including Tabu, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Wamiqa Gabbi, and veteran actor Asrani.
