Director Sooraj Barjatya is returning to the big screen with his new film Yeh Prem Mol Liya, featuring Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari in the lead roles. The movie is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on November 27, 2026.
The release date was officially revealed by Rajshri Productions through social media. Produced in collaboration with Mahaveer Jain Films, the project will feature music composed by Himesh Reshammiya.
This marks Barjatya’s first directorial venture in four years. His previous outing was Uunchai, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani and Anupam Kher. The filmmaker, celebrated for timeless family dramas such as Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!, Hum Saath Saath Hain and Vivah, also earned the National Award for Best Director for Uunchai.
Barjatya reunites with composer Himesh Reshammiya after their earlier collaboration on Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. The upcoming film is being promoted as a heartwarming family entertainer, a genre Barjatya is well known for.
Yeh Prem Mol Liya will also be the first film to pair Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari together on screen.
Ayushmann’s next release before this project will be Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, a family comedy directed by Mudassar Aziz, slated for May 15.

Sharvari, meanwhile, has a busy lineup ahead. She will appear in Main Vaapas Aaunga, directed by Imtiaz Ali and co-starring Diljit Dosanjh and Vedang Raina, releasing on June 12. She will also star in Alpha alongside Alia Bhatt, which is set to hit theatres on July 10.
