Actor Dino Morea says while he is comfortable playing romantic roles on screen, he hopes filmmakers also envision him in full-fledged action avatars in films and web series.

Morea, who has recently featured in shows such as The Empire and The Royals, and the film Housefull 5, is the latest addition to the Prime Video series Four More Shots Please!. In the final season, he plays the love interest of Kirti Kulhari’s character. The show also stars Sayani Gupta, Bani J and Maanvi Gagroo.

“I’d like to think I’m adding a lot of sexiness, coolness and fun to the show,” the actor told PTI in an interview.

The 50-year-old model-turned-actor said he enjoys doing romantic roles and will continue to take them up, but is equally keen to explore action-driven characters.

“I’ve done a lot of action over the course of my career and I think I have the trappings for all kinds of roles. Whatever works and tells a better story, I’d love to be part of it. I’m manifesting action films and more romantic leads,” said Morea, who made his debut with Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi (1999).
