The newly married Bollywood star Katrina Kaif, who weded Vicky Kaushal, has prepared halwa for her family, as part of the ritualistic entry of a Punjabi bride into her matrimonial household.

Katrina had tied the knot with actor Vicky Kaushal on December 9, 2021, amidst friends and family in a destination wedding at Six Senses Fort Barwara, Rajasthan.

The new bride seems to be enjoying her newfound status and is fullfilling all the rituals too.Taking to instagram she shared the pic of "halwa", as prepared by her after marriage, thus keeping alive the Indian tradition. Taking to instagram, Katrina shared the picture of a glass bowl with what seems to be semolina halwa and write "maine Banaya" (I prepared it." She also captioned the picture as "Chaunka Chardana.."

To which Vicky also replied by sharing the image of halwa and captioning "the best halwa ever..! 

The couple is said to have left for Maldives for their honeymoon.

The duo made sure to seek blessings of fanfam by sharing insights of their wedding on Instagram.

Katrina Kaif recently changed her display picture on Instagram and uploaded a new one with hubby Vicky Kaushal.

On the professional front, Katrina Kaif will be next seen featuring in 'Tiger 3' opposite Salman Khan, 'Phone Bhoot' alongside Ishaan Khatter and Siddhant Chaturvedi and 'Jee Le Zaraa' alongside Priyanka Chopra and Alia Bhatt.
