Actors Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor were seen at the Mumbai airport on Tuesday morning as they returned from a short trip taken to celebrate Alia’s 33rd birthday. The couple had travelled along with their daughter Raha Kapoor for a quiet getaway away from the city’s bustle.

In the early hours, Alia and Ranbir walked out of the arrival terminal accompanied by a few members of their team. As they stepped outside, paparazzi gathered to greet the actor and wish her on her birthday.

Ranbir soon shared a light-hearted moment with the photographers. While heading toward their car, the Animal star jokingly asked them if they had brought a birthday cake for Alia, saying playfully, “Cake nahi laye?” before making a mock disappointed expression and moving ahead.

For their travel look, both actors opted for relaxed and comfortable outfits. Alia chose an all-white co-ord set featuring a high-neck jacket and loose pants, paired with a red cap, minimal makeup and open hair. Ranbir kept it casual in a blue full-sleeved T-shirt layered with a black half-jacket, denim jeans, a cap and sunglasses.

On the professional front, Alia will next appear in the upcoming spy thriller Alpha alongside Sharvari Wagh, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol. The film is directed by Shiv Rawail and produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films. It is scheduled to hit theatres on July 10, 2026.

Ranbir, meanwhile, is set to portray Lord Ram in Nitesh Tiwari’s ambitious two-part epic Ramayana.

The couple will also share screen space in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Love and War, which also features Vicky Kaushal. The project was officially announced in January 2024.
