Salman Khan has announced that his upcoming untitled action film with director Vamshi Paidipally will hit theatres on Eid 2027.
The film, backed by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations, stars Nayanthara as the female lead. Shooting reportedly began in Mumbai earlier this week.
Salman shared the update through a behind-the-scenes video on social media, hinting that another project announcement will be made later and asking fans for patience.
The release continues Salman Khan’s successful tradition of Eid launches, which includes films like Wanted, Dabangg, Bodyguard, Kick, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Sultan and Bharat.
The makers are presenting the project as a large-scale theatrical entertainer. Paidipally is known for directing Yevadu, Oopiri, Maharshi and Varisu.
Nayanthara made her Hindi film debut with Jawan opposite Shah Rukh Khan. Her notable South Indian films include Chandramukhi, Ghajini, Billa, Raja Rani and Viswasam.
