Vivo appears to be gearing up for the next addition to its T-series lineup in India, with fresh leaks shedding light on the upcoming Vivo T5 Pro. The device is expected to arrive as a successor to the Vivo T4 Pro, bringing notable upgrades in performance, display, and battery.
According to recent reports, the Vivo T5 Pro could make its India debut around mid-April, aligning with the spring launch window when brands typically introduce refreshed mid-range offerings. In terms of pricing, the smartphone is tipped to fall slightly above the ₹30,000 mark, likely remaining under ₹35,000, placing it firmly in competition with rivals like the Nothing Phone 4a.
On the hardware front, the Vivo T5 Pro is expected to feature a large 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a smooth 144Hz refresh rate, offering an enhanced viewing experience. Under the hood, it may be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, paired with the latest Android 16-based OriginOS 6.
Camera capabilities could include a 50MP primary sensor, reportedly using Sony’s IMX882, with support for 4K video recording. One of the standout upgrades is likely to be the battery—rumoured to be a massive 9,020mAh unit, supported by 90W fast charging.
Additionally, the handset is said to carry IP68 and IP69+ ratings, ensuring durability against dust, water, and high-pressure conditions. Colour options may include Glacier Blue and Cosmic Black.

For comparison, the Vivo T4 Pro launched in 2025 with a smaller battery, lower refresh rate, and slightly less powerful chipset, indicating that the T5 Pro could mark a significant step up in the series.
While official confirmation is still awaited, the leaks suggest that Vivo is aiming to strengthen its position in India’s competitive mid-premium smartphone segment.
