Canadian actor Carrie Anne Fleming, known for her roles in popular horror television series, has passed away at the age of 51.

Fleming died on February 26 in Sidney, British Columbia, due to complications related to Breast Cancer. The news of her demise was confirmed by her Supernatural co-star Jim Beaver to Variety.

Born on August 16, 1974, in Digby, Nova Scotia, Fleming was raised in British Columbia, where she developed a keen interest in the performing arts. She studied at Mount Douglas Senior Secondary in Victoria and later trained in drama at Kaleidoscope Theatre and the Kidco Theatre Dance Company.

She began her acting career with a recurring role in the television series Viper and also appeared in the Happy Gilmore starring Adam Sandler. Over time, she built a diverse portfolio with several supporting yet impactful roles across film and television.

Her notable breakthrough in the horror genre came when acclaimed Italian filmmaker Dario Argento cast her in the anthology series Masters of Horror in 2005. In the episode Jenifer, she portrayed a disfigured woman with cannibalistic traits—a role that became one of her most recognised performances.

Fleming later appeared in multiple horror productions, including the television series Supernatural, where she played Karen Singer, the wife of Bobby Singer. She also featured in the TV film The Unauthorized Full House Story, portraying the mother of Candace Cameron Bure, who is widely known for her role as DJ Tanner in Full House.

In recent years, she gained renewed recognition for her recurring role as Candy Baker in the CW series iZombie, appearing across five seasons. Apart from her screen work, Fleming remained active in theatre, performing in stage productions such as Noises Off, Romeo and Juliet, Steel Magnolias, and Fame in British Columbia.
