Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said that while the world is passing through a phase of uncertainty, India is witnessing an era of unprecedented certainty marked by political stability and policy continuity.

“Amid great global uncertainty, we are witnessing an era of unprecedented certainty in India. Today, India has political stability and continuity in policies,” Modi said after inaugurating the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference (VGRC) here.

The prime minister said India is currently the world’s fastest-growing large economy and is steadily progressing towards becoming the third-largest economy globally.

He emphasised that along with infrastructure development, the availability of an industry-ready workforce is one of the country’s biggest requirements to sustain growth.
