A bomb threat email sent to the Rajiv Gandhi International (RGIA) Airport here on Monday triggered a security alert, but was later declared a hoax, police said.
The email received by the airport authorities warned of a blast at the airport, promting security checks.

"Thorough screening was carried out and nothing suspicious was found. The threat email turned out to be a hoax," a police official said.
