Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday interacted with people from various districts during the weekly Janata Darshan programme and listened to their grievances.

According to an official release, after receiving applications from the petitioners, the Chief Minister directed officials to take swift action and reiterated that illegal encroachments would not be tolerated under any circumstances.

CM Yogi emphasised that the government’s crackdown on land mafia and strongmen is ongoing and will continue on a regular basis. He instructed the concerned authorities to ensure timely and satisfactory resolution of public complaints, assuring citizens of the government’s firm commitment to justice and good governance.

Several petitioners raised issues related to land encroachment and assault. The Chief Minister met each complainant personally, heard their concerns in detail, and accepted their applications.

He subsequently directed officials to expedite the disposal of law-and-order and revenue-related cases at the district level. Stressing the importance of maintaining public safety, CM Yogi said that law and order remain a top priority for the state government and warned that any negligence in this regard would not be accepted.

The Chief Minister further instructed administrative and police officials at the district, division, range, and zonal levels to continue taking the strictest possible action against land mafia and criminal elements to ensure effective enforcement of the law.
