We appreciated the deployment of the Army, NDRF, SDRF, and other agencies. However, there is a need for accelerated efforts to locate the missing and assist those rendered homeless.
Village darhali has been the worst affected as the entire village got buried under the mudslide after a cloudburst on July 5. The Indian army, ITBP and NDRF teams found it difficult to reach the village due to heavy landslide en route.
