Today Hazrat Syed Naseruddin Chishty Successor of Present Spiritual Head of Ajmer Dargah & Chairman of All India Sufi Sajjadanashin Council hailed the Supreme Court judgement on Abrogation of Article 370.

He said that he welcomed the Hon’ble Supreme Court Judgement on Article 370 which shows a well thought step of Home Minister Amit Shah under Honourable Prime Minister  Narendra Modi, visionary leader of India.

He also added that the whole nation stands in ovation for this historic judgment. The hon’ble Supreme Court kept its reputation as the best interpreter of the Constitution.The judgment further reposed the trust and faith of the people of India in our Judiciary. Thanks to Supreme Court of India.

Naseruddin Chishty said  "Where there is a will, there is a way. In a landmark verdict, the Supreme Court of India, consistently upheld the Centre's August 5, 2019 decision to abrogate provisions of Article 370, while directing restoration of statehood for Jammu and Kashmir and holding of the assembly elections by September 30, 2024.

The verdict from a five-judge Constitution bench led by Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud comes in response to petitions challenging the Centre's move four years ago.
