A fire broke out early Tuesday morning at Lakkar Mandi in Kirti Nagar, affecting a plywood warehouse and a few nearby shops, officials said.
Firefighters from several stations rushed to the spot with more than nine fire engines and managed to bring the blaze under control. After containment, cooling operations were undertaken to prevent any flare-ups.
No casualties have been reported so far, officials added.
