Yogi Adityanath on Monday directed officials to address public grievances with sensitivity, warning that no laxity would be tolerated.

During a Janata Darshan held in Lucknow, the chief minister interacted with people and listened to their complaints.

Referring particularly to revenue and police-related matters, Adityanath said negligence would not be accepted and instructed officials to resolve issues within the stipulated time while ensuring proper communication with those affected.

He also asked some visitors whether they had first approached officials in their respective districts regarding their grievances. When it was found that they had not, he advised them not to face unnecessary hardship by travelling in the intense summer heat.

The chief minister urged citizens to first contact district-level authorities, assuring them that their complaints would be heard and handled appropriately.
