New Delhi
A brief moment of panic unfolded at Terminal 3 of Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport on Wednesday after security personnel discovered what initially appeared to be a human skeleton, prompting swift action by airport authorities and the Delhi Police.
Officials said an immediate security assessment was carried out, during which a preliminary inquiry revealed that the object was a demonstration skeleton typically used by medical students for academic study. The skeleton was recovered from the luggage of a medical student, ruling out any immediate suspicion of criminal activity.

Despite the clarification, police have sent the item for forensic examination as a precautionary measure. Authorities said the analysis will conclusively verify that the skeleton is a non-human, educational model used for training purposes, ensuring there is no room for doubt.
