Madan Rathore on Monday claimed that some “good people” in the Indian National Congress have no real say in the party’s functioning and should reconsider their position.
Addressing party workers in Tonk ahead of the arrival of party leader Nitin Nabin, Rathore said he was not referring to the entire Congress but to a few individuals whose views were allegedly ignored.
He cited Shashi Tharoor, saying the senior Congress leader had praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He also mentioned Anand Sharma and Manish Tewari, claiming they too had appreciated government actions.

Rathore alleged that such leaders lacked influence within the Congress and questioned the purpose of remaining in a group where they had no say.
