Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, along with Deputy Chief Minister Premchand Bairwa, led a state-level ceremony at Amar Jawan Jyoti in Jaipur to promote road safety, unveiling a campaign poster and administering a public road safety pledge.

The pledge encouraged citizens to drive responsibly, follow traffic rules, and adopt safety measures to protect themselves and others on the road. Attendees repeated the pledge alongside the CM to show their support for safer driving practices.

During the event, the CM, DCM, and other officials revealed a new road safety poster highlighting the “6 E’s”: Education, Engagement, Emergency care, Enforcement, Engineering, and Evaluation. The poster aims to raise awareness on personal safety while assisting others in emergencies.

The ceremony also recognized local Good Samaritans who have saved lives in accidents. Sandeep Gupta, who has reportedly saved 108 lives by converting his Fortuner into an emergency vehicle, and Nitesh Yadav, who helped transport an injured person after spotting an accident late at night, were among those honored.

In a demonstration promoting night-time road safety, DCM Premchand Bairwa applied reflective tape to a vehicle to improve visibility and reduce accidents. He also distributed helmets to participants, emphasizing the importance of protective gear.
