Seven CRPF personnel injured as vehicle plunges into river near Srinagar

Srinagar

Seven personnel of the Central Reserve Police Force were injured on Saturday after their vehicle skidded off the road and fell into a river on the outskirts of Srinagar, officials said.

The accident occurred on the Dagpora–Umerhair Road in the Ahmadnagar area when the driver reportedly lost control, causing the vehicle to overturn and plunge into the river.

All the injured personnel were rescued and shifted to Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences, where their condition was stated to be stable, officials added.
