Amit Shah on Saturday said Pushkar Singh Dhami has taken a constructive approach to resolving issues in Uttarakhand, helping the state steadily move forward on the path of development.

Addressing a public gathering in Haridwar to mark four years of the state government, the Union Home Minister said the chief minister had resolved to address problems one by one.

“CM Dhami has taken a constructive resolve to address and eliminate problems one by one in the state. As a result, Uttarakhand is continuously moving forward on the path of progress,” Shah said.

He was speaking at a programme titled “Jan-Jan Ki Sarkar: Char Saal Bemisaal”, organised to celebrate the completion of four years of the state government.

Shah arrived earlier at Jolly Grant Airport, where he was welcomed by Dhami before travelling to Haridwar for the ceremony.

In a post on X, Dhami praised Shah’s leadership and contributions to national security and governance, welcoming him to the “sacred land of Uttarakhand”.

During the event, the chief minister presented Shah with a memento and honoured him with a traditional cap representing the cultural heritage of the state.

A large number of people attended the ceremony, which highlighted the state government’s development initiatives over the past four years.

The event was also attended by Trivendra Singh Rawat, Member of Parliament from Haridwar and former chief minister of Uttarakhand, who addressed the gathering.
