Zeenat Kureshi has been appointed as the President of the Mahila Cell of All India Jamiatul Qureshi, marking a significant step in the organisation’s efforts to promote women empowerment and community development at the national level.

The appointment was formally announced in the presence of senior office-bearers of the organisation, during which Kureshi was felicitated and presented with her official appointment letter. Her leadership is expected to strengthen the women’s wing and enhance its role in addressing social, educational and economic issues faced by women within the community.

A century-old organisation, All India Jamiatul Qureshi has been actively engaged in the welfare, upliftment and unity of the Qureshi community across the country. As President of the Mahila Cell, Kureshi aims to encourage greater participation of women in education, skill development, social awareness initiatives and leadership roles.

Senior members of the organisation expressed confidence in her vision and commitment, stating that her appointment reflects the organisation’s priority of empowering women and expanding the reach of the Mahila Cell nationwide.

In her remarks, Kureshi thanked the leadership for placing their trust in her and reaffirmed her commitment to working for the rights, development and empowerment of women, ensuring their voices are represented at regional as well as national platforms.
